Four Paws and Tail Rescue
Four Paws and Tail Rescue was founded by an 18 year old girl. She has always had a big heart for animals, even at a younger age. Four Paws and Tail Rescue was founded in Ocotober of 2006, we are NOT a shelter we are based on FOSTER HOMES. FPTR's mission is to save animals (dogs AND cats) from inhumane situations, abusive/violent situations and situations in which the animal(s) are neglected and also stray animals. We take these animals into our care and give them proper medical care, proper food and socialize them and they are given lots of love and attention..
We pay for everything out of our pockets. There are many times when the medical costs become very high. No matter what these animals receive medical care ASAP! We use a variety of different vets, depending on what medical issues need to be addressed for the animal(s).
We are not yet a 501 (c) 3 but hope to be one day soon. It costs about $2,000 and a couple months of paperwork, we would love to to become one soon but it is very hard to save money when we are rescuing animals!
