03/20/2010- I HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. I HAVE FOUND MY PURRFECT FUREVER HOME WITH AN AWESOME FAMILY WHO UNDERSTANDS I NEED TIME AND PATIENCE TO COME OUT OF MY SHELL. YAY! I AM SO EXCITED FINALLY A HOME!

UPDATE: 03.07.2010- I am doing VERY well in my foster home!!! I am learning that people are OK and will not harm me! Although, still a little itty bitty shy I LOVE to be held and petted now! I have made wonderful progress thus far.
I WOULD LOVE to find a HOME that will have more time to work with me and be patient with me and let me come out of my shell in time. I would do great in a home with other kitties as well. I should NOT go to a home with kids younger then 12, as fast movements do startle me as do loud noises.
I have been spayed and am up to date on everything and am neg. for fiv/felv and have been micro chipped. They also tipped my ear (just as a precaution) (don't know if you can tell in the pictures) they didn't do such a nice job, don't worry it doesn't hurt me it just makes me more cute:) and the hair grow back and cover it with in time.
I may be going to the adoption cage in Concord Pet with my brother George sometime next week.

My name is Gigi. I came to the rescue about a week ago with my brothers, Gadget and George. We had been living outside in this horrible weather, yes we were living outside in the last blizzard we had! It's amazing we survived.
I am beautiful female mostly gray with some white/fawn and darker grays and some faint stripes and have long fluffy soft fur, beleived to be a mix. . I have stunning green eyes! I am believed to be about 4 months old. I am the ONLY girl! And I am smaller also! My siblings and I have not had to much human contact. We are also in a very loud foster home so it's taking us a little more time to warm up. I do hiss right now and am a little shy but am not agressive and do not bite. The rescue does not know for a fact I am related to Gadget and Gidget but we all look pretty much the same.
I actually do prettty well being held, I'm not to squirmy at all. I hold perfectly still, mainly because I am scared but do realize a bit! I seem to do OK with dogs and am very interested in kitties! An experienced owner with cats who has patience and time to work with me is the best fit for me, it is unknown how I'd do with kids- it would probably best for me to go to a home with no kids or older children.
I will not be ready for adoption for another 2-3 weeks, they want to keep us in the rescues care to socialize us a bit more.
I will be neutered, micro chipped, tested for fiv/felv, given one of my FVRCP shots and rabies shot on March 1st. I have been given a bath and do very well in the bath and getting my nails trimmed. I am current on my Frontline as well.
