04/02/2010- I HAVE BEEN ADOPTED WITH MY BROTHER GADGET. WE NOW LIVE IN AN AWESOME HOME WITH OTHER KITTIES! HAPPY EASTER TO US! YAY! 03/12/2009- I AM NOW IN CONCORD PET AT SUBURBAN PLAZA IN THE ADOPTION CAGE. 312 SUBURBAN DRIVE, NEWARK DE 19711. PLEASE COME MEET ME AND TAKE ME HOME!!!


UPDATE 03.07.2010- I am doing VERY well in my foster home! I have made very good progress so far. I do VERY well being held and loved on. Although still a little shy I do not mind being held at all now! I am learning to trust people and that they are OK and will not harm me. I should NOT go to a home with kids younger then 12, as loud noises and fast movements scare me still.

I would LOVE to find a home soon that will be patient with me and work with me some more and let me come out of my shell in time. I will also be going in the adoption cage at Concord Pet next weekend sometime.

I have been neutered, micro chipped and am neg. for fiv/felv and current on my shots. They did tip my ear (just as a precaution) but they did an OK job with it and the hair will grow over it in time.

My name is George. I came to the rescue about a week ago with my brother and sister, Gadget and Gigi. We had been living outside in this horrible weather, yes we were living outside in the last blizzard we had! It's amazing we survived.

I am handsome male gray/blue tabby with white. I have stunning green eyes! I am believed to be about 4 months old. I am a little shy. My siblings and I have not had to much human contact. We are also in a very loud foster home so it's taking us a little more time to warm up.  I do hiss right now and am a little shy but am not agressive and do not bite. The rescue does not know for a fact I am related to Gadget and Gigi but we all look pretty much the same.I actually do prettty well being held, I'm not to squirmy at all. I hold perfectly still, mainly because I am scared but do realize a bit! I seem to do OK with dogs and am very interested in kitties!

An experienced owner with cats who has patience and time to work with me is the best fit for me, it is unknown how I'd do with kids- it would probably best for me to go to a home with no kids or older children.>I will not be ready for adoption for another 2-3 weeks, they want to keep us in the rescues care to socialize us a bit more.

I will be neutered, micro chipped, tested for fiv/felv, given one of my FVRCP shots and rabies shot on March 1st. I have been given a bath and do very well in the bath and getting my nails trimmed. I am current on my Frontline as well.

*All of our kittens & cats are spayed/neutered BEFORE being adopted out (as well as tested for fiv/felv, micro chipped & caught up to date on their FVRCP shots & rabies shot if 3lbs. Kittens are fixed between 12-13 weeks old, therefore they are no younger then 12 weeks before they are adopted  out (we will NOT adopt them out unless the are fixed)*
