03/21/2010- I AM NOW IN THE ADOPTION CAGE AT CONCORD PET IN SUBURBAN PLAZA, 312 SUBURBAN DRIVE NEWARK DE 19711. PLEASE COME AND VISIT ME AND MY BROTHER GEORGE. I HAVE MADE WONDERFUL PROGRESS IN FOSTER CARE!!!! I AM NOW EVEN HARNESS TRAINED! I MEOW NOW AND LOVE TO BE LOVED! ADOPT ME.
My name is Gadget. I came to the rescue about a month ago with my brother and sister, George and Gigi. We had been living outside in this horrible weather, yes we were living outside in the last blizzard we had! It's amazing we survived.
As you can tell by my not so becoming picture I am a bit shy. My siblings and I have not had to much human contact. We are also in a very loud foster home so it's taking us a little more time to warm up. I do hiss right now and am a little shy but am not agressive and do not bite. I am the biggest of my litter, we believe I may have some MAINE COON MIX in me, I have bigger features then my siblings and have a med fluffy length coat.
I actually do prettty well being held, I'm not to squirmy at all. I hold perfectly still, mainly because I am scared but do realize a bit! I seem to do OK with dogs and am very interested in kitties! An experienced owner with cats who has patience and time to work with me is the best fit for me, it is unknown how I'd do with kids- it would probably best for me to go to a home with no kids or older children.
I will not be ready for adoption for another 2-3 weeks, they want to keep us in the rescues care to socialize us a bit more.
I will be neutered, micro chipped, tested for fiv/felv, given one of my FVRCP shots and rabies shot on March 1st. I have been given a bath and do very well in the bath and getting my nails trimmed. I am current on my Frontline as well.

*All of our kittens & cats are spayed/neutered BEFORE being adopted out (as well as tested for fiv/felv, micro chipped & caught up to date on their FVRCP shots & rabies shot if 3lbs. Kittens are fixed between 12-13 weeks old, therefore they are no younger then 12 weeks before they are adopted out (we will NOT adopt them out unless the are fixed)*
